Murray and I bought our first home! Its our new little project that we have snapped up for a steal, it's in a perfect location right in the centre of town with easy parking, three bedrooms, two reception rooms and my favourite part a pantry! Its perfect for us! What is also amazing is that the previous occupants have never done anything with it so it has original coving, floorboards, doors and fireplaces that although all need some TLC they can be restored. The house needs everything doing, re-plastering, new plumbing, electric, windows, roof needs re-felting etc there isn't anything not having work but it makes me so pleased to know that our beautiful home will be receiving the love it deserves!
I have popped up some pictures for you all to see my home, the quality isn't great but you will get the idea of how much work needs doing! Here are the upstairs and downstairs hallways.
Here is part of the main living room, this now has no plasters on the wall just exposed brick as we have spent all of today ripping off the plaster! It's so old the plaster is just on the brickwork, no plaster board or anything! I have uploaded a video onto instagram of us smashing down the plaster!
Here are some pictures of our kitchen and pantry (yes I am in love with my pantry!) the kitchen has beautiful original floors which do need a lot of love, we are taking extra special precautions with these when we work on the kitchen to keep the protected!
This is the main bedroom, I am obsessed with the wallpaper but the house has damp so its ruined... Boo!
This is the second bedroom again with some beautiful retro wallpaper and the most amazing fireplace!
And here is our very very small bathroom which is a very big mess! we will be extending the bathroom into the third bedroom slightly as at the moment you can't move in it!
So what do you all think of my new project home, I am going to be very busy for the next few months! I am going to be doing some more blog posts about the home as in the next few months I will be swapping fashion for furniture so if there is anything you'd like or any tips you'd like to see let me know! Also I will be posting lots and lots of YouTube! videos so please subscribe to my channel!
